History 

World Mango Day is observed on the international mango festival held in India, since 1987. Mangoes were first cultivated in India 5000 years ago. Mango is also the National Fruit of India. Mango's have a variety range of 550 different varieties. China and Philippines took out the rich mangoes and loved them. In 10 years mangoes became a local fruit.

Meaning 

Mango is known as the "King of Fruits" and there isn't any debate on it. Mangoes come in many different shapes, sizes, and colors with a variety of flavors and tastes. Mangoes are used in different products like pickle, juice, jam and sorbet. Now let's learn about different varieties of Mango:-

 Alphonso/Hapus

Hapus mango are known for sweetness, richness, flavor and for its taste in international market.

 Dasheri

Dasheri mango are delicious variety of mangoes basically grown in North parts of India.

 Langra

Langra mangoes are originally from near Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, Langra Mangoes are normally hit the market during the end of July and mostly grown in Banaras/Varanasi.

 Pairi

Pairi Mangoes are hit the Indian market early in the season and an alternative of Ratnagiri Alphonso Mango with extremely juicy and taste.

 Badami

Badami Mangoes are known for their natural freshness and mostly used for mango pulp and juice.
