July 12 is recognised as World Malala Day. July 12 is the birthday of Malala Yousafzai. Yes, you guys might have heard of the world symbol of love and care, Malala was the youngest recipient ever of the Nobel Peace Prize. She fought selflessly for the rights of Women and Children.
Malala was shot in blank-range by a Taliban Gunman on the morning of October 9th, 2012. Her life was at threads, but with the greatest courage and faith she survived and again started her uncompleted journey towards the rights for girl to attend schools. In 2013, she was regarded as the world's most influential people.
I urge everyone to learn about the struggles of the girls living in South Sudan, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Liberia, where the lives of woman are still difficult. Please read Malala's book: I Am Malala: The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot. If you want to donate to Malala's Fund please CLICK HERE.
As Malala said, "Malala Day is not my day. Today is the day of every woman, every boy, and every girl who have raised their voice for their rights."
