World Kebab Day

July 9, is recognised as World Kebab Day. World Kebab Day doesn't have a very long history of its emergence. It's a fairly new idea and it's one of the most enjoyed Food Celebrations of all time. Don't get it all twisted, Kebab is a very ancient food dish going back to the Turkish scripts of 1377.

Kebab is just like rice, the main ingredient depends on the location. Some of the generic locations and their soul of kebabs are :-

➤ China ⇢ Chunks of mutton

➤ Cyprus ⇢ Ground pork sausage

➤ Iran ⇢ Lamb or grilled chicken

Restaurants around the world offer Kabab Specials on this day and host kebab-tasting for their locals. One of the tradition which is basically shown in many restaurant ads, is of a person who is eating a kebab in one hand and waving to a lot of kids with the other hand to invite them to the feast. Don't forget to share your favourite kebab recipe on social media with #WorldKebabDay.
